One day recently whilst anchored on a sail boat in a remote inlet here on the BC coast, we were sitting out on deck at low tide, waiting for the tide to change when out of the bush popped this beautiful female coastal wolf. She was quite a distance from the boat and although we must have made a fair bit of noise grabbing our cameras and moving around the boat, she was not fazed by our presence and continued on her patrol across the clearing and along the beach, before disappearing back in to the bush and was gone as quickly as she came.
