Wolf Looks Up

Wolf-Looks-Up

A coastal wolf looks up from his snack on a pink salmon and asks “What’s the difference between a dead salmon and a BC Liberal?”… “You can trust a dead salmon!” The interior cousins of this coastal wolf sadly continue to be decimated by the barbaric aerial killing sponsored by the BC government. Government supported agencies and the government to date have failed to take the correct and responsible preventive measures to ensure enough habitat remains intact to support woodland and mountain caribou in BC’s interior. So earlier this year they took to the air and started shooting wolves from helicopters in an attempt to right their previous wrongs. They have little or no scientific proof that their actions will do anything more than decimate another wildlife population in the area, the wolf. With so few caribou remaining in the resident herds in some of these places just about any action is futile, without having to kill more. One of the ways they go about this killing is to catch a wolf by darting it from the air, when it drops from the drugs they put a GPS collar on it and follow it to the rest of the pack and then ‘wipe them out’ but not the ‘judas’ wolf as they call it, they try to leave that one so they can follow it as it tries to find solace with other wolf packs. Judas wolf? More like Judas government if you ask me.
