When you work at sea or spend as much time at sea as I have over the years, you get to see some pretty amazing sea and sky only sunrises and sunsets, as well as some impressive looking weather anomalies on occasion too. It always seems I am drawn to them, always impressed by what I’m seeing, once again the effects created by mother nature herself. That was the case here, a shot I took a few years back whilst crossing British Columbia’s Hecate Strait – I just loved the way the sun was setting behind the clouds, leaving them briefly with a golden kiss, before saying goodnight completely.
