Here’s a very ‘wet’ looking shot of a family of grizzly bears out on a rainy day on a BC river system. Whilst the three cubs are enjoying investigating and playing on and around the logjam, mum is very much hard at work down in the bottom corner searching for salmon. I remember this day well and it was a typical mid-October day on the BC coast – it was fine when we left in the morning, but by the time we reached our destination it was absolutely pouring. It wasn’t a very comfortable day for standing and taking photographs, but the bears didn’t seem to mind the rain, so that meant we didn’t either!
