I’ve said it many times before, I just love watching eagles, especially when they’re active and out fishing. I came across this eagle in an area I’ve visited several times (see Eagle Heaven) and if you visit there at the right time of year, you won’t leave disappointed, if it was eagles you went to see. With water still dripping off the talons you can see this guy had just got his catch and was heading back to his favourite perch to enjoy the meal. But they don’t always fly back to eat on land – at this location at least, some will eat on the wing and quickly go round again for seconds.
