Today’s Friday Flashback is from May 1st 2017 and is entitled ‘Kitwanga Sunrise‘. A pretty area that I’ve passed through many times over the years, including on my recent BC road trip last month.
Original Text: “A ‘golden’ double bill to start the month. Many people, especially family members often ask me why do I get up and head out with my camera so early in the morning, usually whilst still dark. Most of the time it’s to get a head start on the wildlife I’m hoping to photograph that day – although very early light can be pretty bad, it’s often best to get in situ before it gets to the good light of the day. These early starts once and a while reward me with spectacular light shows such as this beautiful mid-summer golden sunrise seen over the fields near to the village of Kitwanga in Northern British Columbia.“
