Friday Flashback – A Quizzical Look

It’s starting to shape up into a busy year photographically and as I head back out ‘on the road’ once again I thought I’d bring the ‘flashbacks’ back for the next couple of months. Today’s Friday Flashback is from 3rd February 2017 and is entitled ‘A Quizzical Look’. Hopefully I’ll be seeing a few more of these little gems over the next few days – images will be here as soon as I can.

Original Text: “Two young grizzly bear cubs of the year give a quizzical look at the strange new thing they spot floating by in the waters of the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary here on the BC coast. These two young bears and their mother had only been down on the estuary for a day or two when we came across them, so they were still adjusting to their new environment – meeting and seeing other things for the first time. Before arriving on the estuary, they would have had a very sheltered first couple of months alone with their mother, but once here a whole new world of discovery and learning opens up for them.
