Here we see a large and fairly old looking black bear out searching for food amongst the shoreline pickings of low tide on the BC coast. This beachside bruiser certainly has distinct looking features and appears to be giving a pretty mean look in my general direction as I took the photograph, but that was it, he was just looking ‘in my general direction’, he was actually paying very little attention to those of us sitting off-shore in a small boat and more set on finding something to eat.
