Here we see one of the female grizzly bears of the Khutzeymateen making her way along a path between some rocks on the beach of the estuary. I believe that this is the young bear we came across in the post ‘Oh Honey, Honey’, amongst others, from a few years back when she was about three years old. Here in this shot she would have been around six with the shot taken on my last visit to the Khutz back in 2022. Hopefully she’ll still be around when I return a little later in the spring, who knows, maybe even with cubs of her own!
