This young black bear seems to be giving us the eye to make sure we’re not about to leap off the river bank and try to steal the pink salmon he seems to be enjoying so much. In reality it was just coincidence and timing on my part that he was looking in the direction of the camera. He had no concerns about the people watching from the distant shore, if anything he would have been more concerned about other bears, but there were so many fish around, even the bears weren’t bothering each other on this particular day.
