I couldn’t resist this guy, he looks so sad, fed up at being all alone perhaps. As I’ve said before, adult grizzly bears pretty much lead a solitary life; as juveniles and sub-adults they may intermittently hang out together, especially siblings, but as they get more mature they tend to spend more and more time apart. But I’m sure this fella was fine though and just caught in the moment – he went back to eating the sedge quickly after his safety look around.
