How about this for a look? This was the glance a mother grizzly bear gave us whilst she and her cubs were out digging for clams at low tide on a rocky British Columbia beach. One of her cubs can be seen in the bokeh pretty close by, but the others had wandered a little farther off, so that would have been adding to any concerns she may have had. We on the other hand were sat about 100 metres off the beach in a large-ish converted herring skiff.
