Original Text: “A black bear sits and watches the river as it meanders past over rocks and logs heading for the ocean nearby. The scene could be anywhere along the BC coast, particularly at this time of year. Late summer and early fall along the coast sees bears congregating from far and wide on many river systems, watching and waiting, before suddenly bursting to life and diving in to the icy cold water hoping to grab themselves a salmon.“
