Today’s Friday Flashback is from 1st April 2016 and is entitled ‘Sitting Pretty’. One of two young grizzly bear sisters I was fortunate to be able to follow for a few years but I haven’t seen them now since 2017 as I haven’t been back to that area, but hopefully by now they’ll have cubs of their own!
Original text: “This is another shot of a juvenile grizzly bear that I’ve been able to see grow up since her year of birth and in this shot taken in June last year she is sitting on top of a rock here on the BC coast. She would have been around three and half years old in this shot and was seen throughout the summer still hanging out with her sister, despite them leaving their mother a year earlier.
