Here’s another fall shot I took a few years ago of pretty female grizzly bear right in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest. We came around a bend in the river and there she was, standing there as if she was welcoming us to her backyard. In reality, she’s stood out on a gravel bar looking for salmon and was probably surprised to see us. We’ve seen her before in a couple of shots that were a few frames on from this one and also after she found herself an old chum salmon which she took off to the bush for a bight to eat.
