After an unsuccessful swoop to grab a fish floating on the surface at a unique stretch of water here on the BC coast, this bald eagle manoeuvres to avoid a collision with other birds also feeding at this natural phenomenon. ‘Eagle Heaven’ is a place I’ve mentioned before and is certainly a fairly special place to see, especially for eagle lovers. Best time to visit? I would say from the end of May through June & early July. Best way to see it? Wildlife viewing trip out of Campbell River here on Vancouver Island.
