I came across this black bear perched on a rock, feasting on an old spawned out chum salmon in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest here on the BC coast. As we’ve said before when they’re hungry bears and others, (see Urgh Gross! for example) aren’t too fussy when it comes to the condition or appearance of their salmon, they are just glad of the nutrition no matter how little or poor in quality it might be, (see also Any Old Salmon).
