Here is a late August, early morning in Northern BC shot. I was camping by a lake in the interior one time and was up with the dawn the next morning. Behind the campsite I came across this mysterious, ethereal looking pond, slowly waking up from the chill of the previous night. Naturally it was still very quiet and a little off the beaten track, so I had this special view all to myself that morning, well except for a beaver that I came across still out searching for food or timber for his latest lodge modification. But he wasn’t for ‘sticking’ around for his photograph to be taken and quickly disappeared underwater long before I could get my camera raised to my eye.
