Here’s a real moody sunset shot taken one early May evening quite a few years ago now – but one I’ve never used. It was taken whilst on a sailboat working off the BC coast conducting marine mammal surveys. We had been heading across Hecate Strait, effectively towards the storm, but managed to finish our work for that day and make it in to an anchorage off Haida Gwaii, before the weather turned nasty.
