Camouflaged Wolf

Here we see a wolf photographed here on the BC coast one May morning a couple of years back. I love this shot as a brilliant example of how the colourization of the coastal wolves here in British Columbia  helps to provide them with much needed camouflage. Even the slight tint of ochre through the fur fits so well with the sandy red on the granite rocks behind and with the wolf standing motionless, it just seems to blend right in.
