With snow churning up ahead of him, a male moose ploughs his way through the snow in the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. I had been watching two male moose hanging out together eating some shrubbery next to the trees behind this guy – then, he suddenly decided he’d had enough and started to make his way through the snow over to another area nearby. It was this area that I found the two of them in the next day also – see Silver Dollar Moose to gauge the depth of snow this guy is in.
