Resting on a snowy hillside in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming this Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep eyeballs us looking up from below. He was sat along with several other males, but this guy by far had the biggest curl on his impressive looking set of horns. Unlike ungulates, sheep keep their horns year round adding to the ‘curl’ year on year. If you get your magnifying glass out you can count the ridges to see how old he is!(See also ‘Bighorn Sheep’).
