Remember ‘Log Shake’ from July 2018? That was the frame before this one and here we see the same young grizzly bear checking us out just before he reached the end of his log bridge and shot off up in to the trees. I’ve seen quite a bit of this tough little guy over the last couple of years, quite often, as on this occasion, being chased by his similar looking, but much bigger cousin, Barney Junior, who had very much become the dominant bear of the estuary. He was also often seen in the company of similar aged bears with whom he’d hang out with and occasionally wrestle and play, before heading off on his own again, (see ‘Fighting Grizzlies’, he’s the one with his mouth open!).
