Fishing Grizzly

A few years back I was stood with some friends on a creek in northern British Columbia watching a pair of sub-adult sibling grizzly bears fishing for sockeye salmon. Their frantic attempts of chasing around after the fish did reap some rewards for them, but they were also just as happy to grab spawned out salmon when they could too. This guy here, although he looks like he is coming straight at us, was actually a fair distance away and was concentrating on the salmon in the water, not on those of us watching from the creekside!
