Here’s a favourite bear from a couple of years ago – one that often receives many comments of amazement when seen on one of my art cards collection. This large female grizzly bear was photographed here on the BC coast around mid-October and by the looks of her, she is clearly ready to head off up the mountains for hibernation and her long winter sleep. Although, I must admit in this shot she does look as if she’s asking if she can have just one more salmon before she goes – kind of like my dog asking for one more biscuit, please!
