Continuing with another shot of Junior, the young grizzly bear from Monday’s post, here he is again back in early September. This time I found him in a creek searching round for salmon and he seemed quite pleased with himself when he scavenged this spawned out dead pink salmon. Before trying a few bites he turned it in several directions, almost as if he was showing us how to test a fish before eating. He was smelling it a number of times as he spun it and finally he had a few nibbles before deciding it wasn’t for him.
