For those of you who remember my shot ‘Thanks Mum‘ from 2015 featuring the clamming grizzly bear mum and cub of the year seemingly sharing a tender moment, this is the same pair one year later. They really have a great bond together and during my time with them recently I was fortunate to be able to observe them feeding and playing and now, following on from the privilege of being able to watch them nurse last year, this year they granted me the honour of being able to watch them sleep. Here, mum takes a brief glimpse at the world around her as her young cub rests blissfully on her back, then she too went back to snoozing in the warm afternoon sun along the bank of the river.
