It was a hit & miss few days after leaving the Khutzeymateen last Tuesday. Some days I saw lots of wildlife, others none at all. Some of what I’ve seen have included grizzly bears, moose, deer, eagles, kestrels and this black bear who stuck his head out from the bushes to munch on some late summer berries along a creek. The creek was full of chum salmon, but he seemed to prefer the berries. I’ve now made it to Jasper in the next leg of my field trip and hope to finish off some work from last year before the snow hit.
