Approaching harbour one morning after being out photographing whales – swooping down came this eagle from some near-by cliff top trees and he flew parallel with the side of our boat on his search for fish close to the surface of the water. It’s grace and power as it went by, clearly focussed on the task at hand and not fazed by the presence of boats was impressive to see… but then I’m biased, I can sit and watch eagles all day with or without my camera!
