Here are three Harbour Seals (Phoca vitulina) doing what harbour seals like to do best during the middle of the day, lie on some rocks and soak up the warmth of the sun. A couple of years ago I posted a blog (see Harbour Seal) in which I stated that the harbour seals of the BC coast come in various shades of grey through to a speckled white and this shot seems to show that range perfectly, which I thought some might enjoy.
